Lecture Title: Strengthening collaboration between hydrocephalus organizations
As President and CEO of the Hydrocephalus Association (HA), Diana leads the organization in fulfilling its strategic vision, implementing core values, and advancing its mission to bring hope to over one million Americans living with hydrocephalus. Since joining HA in November 2015, Diana has leveraged more than 35 years of experience in public health and nonprofit leadership to drive meaningful progress.
Her extensive career includes serving as Vice President for Network Development at the Lupus Foundation of America and as Vice President for the West Division of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF), where she oversaw operations across 11 states and 27 business units, generating nearly $50 million in revenue during her final year. Before JDRF, Diana spent 14 years in the HIV/AIDS sector, culminating her work as Executive Director of The Damien Center, Indiana’s largest HIV/AIDS services organization. In recognition of her exceptional service, she received Indiana’s highest civilian honor, the Sagamore of the Wabash, from the Governor. Beyond her executive roles, Diana is a recognized leader in national health advocacy. She served on the National Health Council (NHC) Board of Directors, including as Board Chair in 2021, representing the Hydrocephalus Association and the 160 million Americans living with chronic diseases or disabilities. Additionally, she joined the Board of Directors for the Rudi Schulte Research Institute in May 2019. Diana holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University.
