- Medical residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery at the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo from 1998 to 2002;
- Postgraduate in Pediatric Neurosurgery by the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies (2004 – 2006);
- PhD in Experimental Neurotraumatology in 2007;
- Founder and Coordinator of the Brain Hydrodynamics Group at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, since 2007;
- Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of São Paulo since 2013;
- More than 52 published scientific papers on neurosurgery and neuroscience;
- Co-inventor and co-patent holder of the Sphera Pro Valve;
- Communicator in Health since 2012, having worked on TV Globo (2013-2019), TV Bandeirantes (2019-2020) and TV CNN Brazil (2020-2022);
- Lecturer and Author of 9 books on medicine and neuroscience for the general public;
- Member of the São Paulo Association of Medicine and member of the Brazilian Society of Neurosurgery;
- Board member of the Hydrocephalus Society.
