Lecture Title: Delivering high-quality care with low-tech solutions for Hydrocephalus management.

He is deeply involved in the clinical management of CSF disorders and traumatic brain injury, as well as in the national coordination of these fields, serving as the chairman of the hydrocephalus and neurotrauma section of the French Society of Neurosurgery. His research interests focus on exploring brain dynamics in acute and chronic CSF disorders, particularly in NPH workup but also in traumatic brain injury and complex multishunted patients.

Recently, he initiated a reflection group to address the unsustainability of current ‘all high-tech’ healthcare in high-income countries, considering environmental, economic, and societal challenges. The group’s central focus is on maintaining high-quality care through the implementation of low-tech solutions, balanced rationally with genuine high-tech needs.
